In 2016 The Columbus Zoo wanted to add an interactive sculpture area that could offer both fun and education.  To do this the sculptures needed to be durable, but also as realistic as possible.  This way, visitors can learn size relationships and anatomy of animals that they normally cannot get close to.  For this space, we created realistic models of Beluga Whales, Pelicans, a Sea Turtle, and a full size Blue Whale, along with some other models of a boat and a large ocean buoy.  “Shores Play Park” area has become a destination inside the zoo for families since installation, and we are proud to be a part of this popular zoo.
