About The Project
GD+B worked with the Toledo Zoo during aquarium renovations to redesign an outdoor interactive water park and exploration area. The area was designed to have a “wet” side complete with a spray park, and a “dry” side with slides, swings, and seating for families. The island-themed park includes a giant whale tail, a giant crab swing, pelicans, beach huts, and boats. The Aquarium Adventure Trail provides a destination to cool off and play during hot summer zoo trips.
