About the Project
During the total renovation of the Magee Marsh Visitor Center in 2022, Graphite Design + Build worked with Ohio Department of Natural Resources and local architects and construction companies to re-design the interior of the building. The design includes dioramas, maps, interactive elements, and educational signage that highlight the past, present, and future of northwest Ohio’s wetlands.
This diorama shows what the ecosystem of the Magee Marsh wildlife area looks like today. Native plants, invasive species, and wildlife are brought to life through sculpture, taxidermy, and murals to highlight a typical scene in the wetland today.
